Skin Concern
Redness & Rosacea
Clinical, evidence-informed care to target vascular redness and manage rosacea over time.
Redness develops when blood vessels near the skin's surface dilate or become more visible — triggered by genetics, sun damage, inflammation, or conditions like rosacea, where vessels and skin barrier function are both involved.
What is Redness?
Redness is one of the most persistent skin concerns and one of the most frustrating, because it often doesn't respond to skincare the way other concerns do. It can show up as ongoing flushing, visible capillaries, or a diagnosed condition like rosacea, and tends to flare in response to heat, sun, stress, or certain products.
Whether it's redness that never seems to settle, visible vessels across the cheeks and nose, or a rosacea diagnosis you're ready to actively manage — this is where we come in.
At The Dermal Clinic in Hervey Bay, redness is treated as a vascular and inflammatory concern, not just covered up. We use a combination of approaches, including Laser Genesis and Healite II LED therapy, to target the underlying vessels and calm inflammation at the source.
Because rosacea in particular is a manageable, not curable, condition, we also build long-term trigger management and skincare into your plan — so flare-ups are reduced, not just temporarily masked.
Every plan starts with a Skin Assessment, so what you get is a course of treatment built for your skin — not someone else's.

Is this right for you?
Most redness and early rosacea responds well to a clinical approach. Active flare-ups, certain medications, or more severe rosacea presentations may need a modified approach — this is assessed during your Skin Assessment, not assumed beforehand.
-
Rosacea is a manageable condition rather than one that's cured. Treatment focuses on reducing flare-ups and visible symptoms over time.
-
The Dermal Clinic, located at 164 Christensen Street, Urraween, offers clinical pigmentation treatment starting with a Skin Assessment.
-
Some mild, temporary flushing immediately post-treatment is common. This is different from a flare and typically settles within hours.
Understand What's Driving the Redness
Redness has a cause. Treatment should target that,
not just the surface.
