Skin Concern
Fine Lines & Ageing
Clinical, evidence-informed care to support skin structure, firmness, and texture over time.
Collagen and elastin production naturally decline with age, while cumulative sun exposure and lifestyle factors accelerate the process. Which is why skin ages differently for everyone, even at the same age.
What is Ageing?
Ageing skin is a natural process — but the pace and pattern it takes looks different for everyone. Fine lines, loss of firmness, and changes in texture can show up gradually, often years before they're something you'd point to in the mirror.
Whether it's early fine lines around the eyes and mouth, a general loss of skin tightness, or texture that's changed as collagen production slows — this is where we come in.
At The Dermal Clinic in Hervey Bay, ageing is approached as an ongoing process to support, not a single problem to fix. We use a combination of treatments, including Laser Genesis, SkinPen collagen induction therapy, Class IV laser, and Healite II LED therapy, to stimulate collagen and support skin structure over time.
Because ageing is continuous, results are built through a course of treatment and maintained through skincare — not achieved in a single visit and left there.
Every plan starts with a Skin Assessment, so what you get is a course of treatment built for your skin — not someone else's.

Is this right for you?
Most early to moderate ageing concerns respond well to a clinical approach. Some skin conditions or medications may change what's appropriate — this is assessed during your Skin Assessment, not assumed beforehand.
-
There's no fixed age. It depends on your skin, sun exposure history, and goals. Many clients start with preventative care in their late 20s to 30s.
-
The Dermal Clinic, located at 164 Christensen Street, Urraween, offers clinical pigmentation treatment starting with a Skin Assessment.

Results are supported through a course of treatment and maintained with ongoing skincare and periodic treatment. Ageing is continuous, so is care.
